Apparently the property has been used for storage of goods by the owner and has not been occupied for some time. The asking price was 295K which is over priced because a similar new house is now selling for 250K. The agent could not obtain the keys for us to view the inside of the house and he does not have a web site! It seems that Malaysian estate agents are still living in the dark ages using a mobile phone and also face to face meetings to sell houses. What is wrong with using the internet and emails?

David,
ReplyDeleteAre you scouting for a house in Kuantan? Looks ok.
Robert,
ReplyDeleteYes, the house looks ok; but the price is not ok. A relative recently bought a similar house in Kuantan for only 240K.
