mushroom picking

Do not ever under estimate the power of a humble mushroom. Harvesting mushroom for me was more than just a job. It was an effective tool which I used for motivating all my teenage children to study harder to finish their university degrees. During the week ends, I brought all my children with me to pick mushrooms at Morrinsville. They have to earn their own pocket money in New Zealand! Pearl must have hated picking mushrooms more than the boys did, because she has finished 2 degrees and a diploma! She probably will not have to pick any more mushrooms in NZ!
